Peter & Friends

About me

If you have seen Peter Harper live, there is a high probability that you have received a big hug or a kiss on the cheek from him. Peter Harper genuinely loves his audience, and it is this gratitude and humanity that permeates his music and makes him an extraordinarily unique and captivating artist.

As a musician he has toured throughout the United States, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, and England, going from large festivals, to small clubs, to find his way into the hearts and minds of the people.

Peter shares this love with a voice reminiscent of 1950’s and ‘60’s soul, while adding a musical accompaniment that takes you on an extraordinary emotional journey through generations, that always leaves you feeling like you’re floating in the clouds days after the concert has ended. A good artist captures the feeling of a moment. A great artist captures the feeling of an era. When Peter Harper writes and records his newest music his message of Hope, Strength, Love, and Survival is always in lock step with the zeitgeist of the moment at hand to help guide all of us all through the twists and turns life throws our way.

Peter Harper is poised to release 26 songs this year, a song every other week, so his fans never have to wait for new music. The title of this genre crossing adventure album is We’re Comin’. The title track song is a scathing anthem that lashes at the greed of those who use their wealth and power to oppress others. Knowing that one voice alone is amplified ten fold for every voice that joins it, Peter put a call out to those of his fans who have supported him for years and believe in his message to join him in singing the chorus.

The submissions flooded in and it is official, the people have spoken. The resulting power of these collective voices will make you want to get up off your couch and march in the streets. Peter’s cover song, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, by Cindy Lauper, puts a folk twist on a pop song that we all know and love so dearly. Though folk music always feels like a blast from the past, Peter’s lilting Tenor guitar and sweet soft vocals create a sound that pushes 1984 right into the here and now.

The list of tracks goes on, from live songs, to songs that will make you get up and dance no matter where you are or what you are doing in the moment. Peter Harper is back on the road charming his audience, continually expressing his deep sense of humanity. From the upbeat tracks utilizing Ableton Live, to his four string guitar accompanying his warm soul filled voice, his concerts not only leave you glowing, but remind you that there are still beautiful things in the world worth believing in.

Maud

Singer

I was in my hotel room when, through an open window on my balcony a voice floated in like that of a bird singing in the trees. That was my introduction to Maud. Today a tour is not a tour if she has not brought her guitar to sing between shows.
